9073 is citishoes cigar cap toe bal.

I have a pair of 975's but want a pair with antique edging. Would there be an additional number for antique edging like 975(1)?

Usually the number after 975 is the color. I believe 9751 is black shell. Maybe check Leffot to see if they have a model number listed. I don't remember mine off the top of my head.

Edit. 97581 is the Leffot, antique edge LWB.

For what its worth I scored a Snuff suede boot model 11202F.  All brown eyelets, water lock sole, on modified last.  Not holding my breath, but Joe confirmed they had it and took my CC info.  Looks like this:

There is a 7 year old Ask Andy thread with Leathersoul involved in the discussion about a 9073 that is definitely not Cigar. Apparently Alden NY would get a limited run of 12 each year (#4, Mahogany, Ravello or whatever it was). Maybe the Shoe Mart system pulled the description from the old Alden NY version.

It was no joke....but they called me back on the phone and said that the shoe was gone already.

Oh well...it was not meant to be.

I think I will be going for some Carmina Ruby instead....

Leffot #8 Dovers on the way.  After getting some more specific makeups, I'm very excited to break in some everyday "beater" cordovan.

Snagged Ravello lhs in 10C on the Van last. Never worn Van before - any quick and dirty sizing thoughts if the best size for me on the Barrie last is a 10C?

I believe the 10C Ravello LHS pair on the ShoeMart seconds list was the pair that I had made for me and subsequently returned due to their flaw. They had a cut on the back of one of the shoes near the sole.

Here is a pic of their color:

I believed it to be a cut through the shell (probably accidentally done with the clicking knife) and didn't want to pay full retain for them.

For sizing, I am a 10.5C (TTS) and 10.5B Barrie. I have never tried on a 10C Barrie to be honest. I don't like giving sizing advice on the LHS due to the low vamp. It's a 3D problem on this shoe.

As DV stated, I think the #4 is actually Cigar. Based upon the model number and picture.

The good stuff sold quick, I wish I wasn't out for a run when the list was sent...

A bunch of shoes on the list that I'd like to have, but none that I need. That may change with repeated viewings, however.
