Damn! They really are looking amazing with some wear.

These things have an odd effect of looking like a much larger boot (ie. I would have suspected you size 8s to be like a sz 10-11).

I have till Thurs to send these back so I'm going to have to think hard on it. If only I hadn't gotten those Brandy Vibergs.... but OTOH, I know I will regret it if I send these back.

I tried it on and really liked it, but not sure how much use I'd get out of it. It's definitely striking.

With the two tone brown and antique edge trim, I thought it really stood out in person...in a good way. Someone said "pimp", but I think it is more conservative than that. It seems to be selling pretty well.

Shouldn't compare the two. These are daily drivers and go with a wide range of looks. I don't think you can wear the Vibergs with the same range or expecting the same comfort.

You got the brandy shell in 7.5, right?

Hmm... seems either goes with the same relative range of jeans/chinos (which is basically all I wear). Both in the same relative code range too, being light/medium brown. Without a doubt the Vibergs are heavier and sturdier, but I don't see that as an issue personally - these are all daily drivers for me.

I'm not sure on the Vibergs, just kicked it up to an 8 as my brown CXL service boots in 7.5 feet a bit short, but I'm not certain if they are. I tried wearing a Viberg on my left foot and an Indy on my right and they feel pretty close size-wize, the Indy being somewhat more narrow and looser in the instep.

I'm not sure how this is possible, but I may be overlooking a variable.

My Barrie Indy boots absolutely have a lower instep than my service boots. I have a high instep and wide feet (8E). A 7.5E Barrie should fit me, though I haven't tried, but the 8D is nearly spot on; I generally prefer the shoe to be as short as possible and then I focus on the width.

Really nice! I don't think they still have that, but I'd be torn between that pair and the two-tone Alt Wien I just posted. I think Unionmade has an underrated Alden selection. Some cool makeups, it's just that they don't focus on sleekness.

Would you mind posting a few more pics(top down, side profile), especially wearing them outdoors?
