Congratulations on this significant milestone!

Would love to see pic of the whole collection.

Not that big of a deal from a structural integrity standpoint.  More of an aesthetic issue.

^^Good to know. The aesthetics don't bother me too much since these are a pretty rugged boot. I looked at it a little more closely and it looks like the welt is intact under the fraying.

Just out of curiosity would I be able to trim away some of the fraying just to clean it up a bit?

^@gnu--- others may disagree but I'd let it go. Messing may worsen it -- nobody else will notice it. Ever.

EDIT - troll-feed deleted

I would let sleeping dogs lie

GNU, I personally would ask for an exchange. A $50 bostonian at DSW will have better QC than that.

Nephews, Uncles, Nieces, Grandpas, and Grandsons,

Check out my Alden LWB next to the RL Sanderson (made by AE).

Which do you like more? I prefer the Alden.

Troll-hunting aside, just about to head out to an outdoor party/dinner with my lovely better-half.  Sockless look with my Natty Chrmxl LWBs seemed appealing a little while ago.  Liking the casual but not too preppy look.
