^ I can be your third interested party!

HaHa. Someone who is NOT a 10.5D tts. :-)

I have debated thinning the heard for quite some time so I empathize with your plight. I would say do as I say not as I do. You have the cigar and captoe area covered. I would focus on an obscure model you may desire or perhaps put the new found cash towards a time piece. Just my.02

It's not crazy. It makes sense, especially given the context.

The shade of recent batches of Alden cigar is that muddy, unattractive, poopy brown that has a vague and unhealthy greenish cast. Furthermore, it's really difficult to beat EG dark oak. Yet, I am sure many Alden extremists will find problems with dark oak simply because it is neither shell nor Alden made. Additionally, while C&J dark brown shell is not always perfect, recent batches have been killer. And since I know you have some Marlow shell in the oversized collection, it seems reasonable to unload this pair to someone who will wear them regularly.  Best of luck.  Cheers.

Thromb, the Tassel is a very special Alden. I have heard, although I am yet to find an authoritative source, that Alden invented the Tassel loafer as we know it when a celebrity went to Europe and saw shoes with tassels on them and wanted such a shoe. They asked Alden and another manufacturer to make them, and Alden produced what we now know as the Tassel loafer.

The Ravello Tassel is particularly special and has only been made by Leffot and Pelle Line to my knowledge.

I took this photo today to help me relax. I have them in Ravello and #8, but as I mentioned earlier, I have sold the Ravellos.

I was super tempted to put the Ravellos on that fountain, but as it is in THE MIDDLE of one of the biggest parks, I couldn't build myself to do it.

Thanks for the background info on the tassel loafer, it makes we want a pair even more! I am now on the hunt for a pair but I need to figure out my sizing on the Aberdeen loafer first. And what a great photo!

Nice shots Mike. Get yourself a Shoe Mart t-shirt and everyone will just think you're a catalog photographer..."Don't try this at home kids; I am a professional."
