Sir, mine were a design done by JCrew a few years back. They shipped from Alden with the brass eyelets. JCrew and Frans Boone both typically like the exposed eyelet style.

Color 8, Cigar, Whiskey and Ravello?

In the order listed - but swap ravello and whiskey.

For those who missed out on Leffot LWB preorder, the bureau is offering 15% off on any order. Price is about $710 for Alden color 8 LWB with antique.

I was asked yesterday which I prefer, cigar or ravello LWB.  Below are some comparison shots.  It's tough to say given the variation in shades for ravello.  I think I prefer the "old-school" ravello.

NST (old school ravello), LWB (reddish ravello), Cigar LWB, PTB (recent, dark ravello)

Old-school ravello (NST)

Reddish Ravello (LWB)

Recent, dark ravello (PTB)

Cigar LWB

RL Marlow Brown shell

Last shot comparing the two LWBs...

I suppose my answer is I would snag whichever ones become available to you @sacafotos

(Sorry no photos indoors; pics always come out too dark)

Anyone have a preference?

Thank you, sir!

Nice shots. Great to see the variations in batches.

I like them all! My Ravello is somewhere between all of them, haha. No two shoes are alike.

I prefer the Ravello on your NST.

I agree with the rest above these are very nice.

I like Alden shell but I vastly prefer suede or cxl.

They better suit my wardrobe.

to show a bit more variation in ravello, my three pair,

and I'll say, still to this day, that if a pair of jcrew lwb ravellos pop up in 11.5 I will pay a premium, as I find that shade to be perfect..
