Other specialty retailers carry the antique edge LWB from time to time. It's more about supply and demand. If the antique edge version were constantly available (like the standard version), their flash sale like popularity--and demand for them-- would dissipate.
There is a psychology to all of this. Perceived rarity of limited editions/colors and non-stock versions supports fast inventory turns, robust pre-sale demand, high(er) prices, and cool cult status of certain specialty retailers.
The rise of the "artisanal" and "handcrafted" Alden-J Crew-GQ-etc. juiced frenzy for these goods is comical. If you missed out this go round, just make some calls to others stores and/or be patient. This makeup will be back. Cheers.
