They might be plaza. I wear grant and plaza tts. Plaza is sleeker, these are kind of wide for plaza, but might be.

I too, would have selected the Indy over the PCT in that make-up.

As an aside, I find the Barrie-lasted Indy to be much more attractive than the original Trubalance versions.

Wow, why did you have to say that? Now I'm going to look to replace my color 8 Trubalance Indy with a Barrie version if I can find it. #madness

Never knew they made a natty CXL Indy. That's beautiful and probably my favorite natty CXL boot. The leather was made for an Indy style.

I would just get a #8 Tanker boot. Barrie shell Indys are not common.

Man I want that Seven Hills Indy boot on Need Supply, but that what sole is bugging me. Not worth it to buy and change soles, I think.

Right - Indy boots are supposed to be clunky work boots, so they are more often made on the Trubalance. Plenty of other options for moc-toe boots - Tankers, Aberdeen boots, etc.

Got email this morning saying my Jcrew color 8 PCT was put on hold b/c of my CC. I called back just now and they sold my boots. They don't know when they will be doing another order plus the price now is up from 645.00 to 690.00

Do you live in NYC? A lot of the local JCrews have a pretty big stock atm.

Need Supply Gamble Hill Indy or Union Made Reverse Chamois Tanker? For casual wear with denim and beating up.

Is the Gamble Hill the grain leather?

^ CXL Barrie boot pictured a few up.

No I do not. I actually live in Canada, and I get them mail to my box in the US. I did ask them to put a note on my account for them to honour the original price I got them for (645.00 for 30 percent off). I had to return my original ones b/c the speed hooks started to come off. It just sucks I gotta wait for x number of months before they do a restock.

Which UnionMade reverse chamois boot are you making reference to, the McCoppin which is a Norwegian, or the Mason which is an Indy?

If you are referring to the McCoppin, then go with the Gamble Hill. However, I would choose the Mason over the Gamble Hill.

I have both Natty CXL and reverse chamois boots, and I tend to like the reverse chamois more, as they look really rugged. With that said, as much as I do not like crepe soles, I dislike NSTs more. Plus, the Barrie last on the Gamble Hill looks pretty amazing.
