You can do a pre-order... I got a pair done in a narrow "C" width.

Not sure where from originally. I bought them from eBay.

Hey Mr Clemson! I was in the same boat a month or two ago. The Spiaggia's might still be a possibility. I got a pair in March or Early April from 6PM.com … 8.5E … my normal 5-last size is 9D, but these fit great. There was also a pair here in the marketplace, as well as eBay. AE also had some during their last seconds sale. IIRC there were also some other online retailers that had some stock. It's a pretty nice shoe if you get it at a good price. I was looking at BB's version, but the price was insane even at 30% off. The design is basically the Mcallister, but in suede with a red vibram sole. Also had to replace the red laces with white ones that AE sells separately. Good luck!

I'm really very happy, and although there is some slight color difference, it's nowhere nearly as noticeable as before.

They look fantastic!

This makes me question my decision to send my Ravello Chukkas back to the store. One of the shoes was a nice red-ish brown while the other shoe was quite dark brown-brown. If I had seen this picture I probably would have kept them and sent them to Alden for a refinish instead...

Modified, from a shop called Bellerose

Today was a ravello LWB day for me.  Mine look more red than most...

After wearing half the day, they need a good brushing... pollen accumulates on cars and shoes as well!

I love the copper color of these.

A lot more than the orange-ish shade that mine have.

Those plaza chukkas are awesome.

If memory serves, you haven't worn the plaza WT boots. If so, that's a shame.

It is amazing the variation in color between the Ravello shoes.

Ravello seems like it is the most likely to vary from batch to batch.

I have seen brown to orange to red and everything in between.

Mine, for example are quite brown.

I think Ravello batches vary so much because Alden can basically release any type of mid-brown cordovan shoe, call it Ravello, and it will sell out before it even hits the shelves. If you look at all the Ravello posted here over the years, and didn't know that they were all labeled as Ravello by Alden, nobody would think they were supposed to be the same shade of shell.
