Haha thanks dude! I was surprised too :-) 100% no filter, in the office (direct sunlight) with an iphone 4 camera. There is definitely still some color variation, but it's totally manageable now.

Thanks everyone else too! I really appreciated your initial feeback, just as I do now. I'm very happy with how these have turned out, and I absolutely recommend the Alden refinishing option... You must be very clear with what you want, but they will be very clear with what they are able to do.

Hoit - I'm not one to repost photos, but those are some of the best Ravello I've seen in years here. Fantastic job by Alden, and enjoy wearing those beauties.

I agree. a touch darker than the indys I got from TSM last yr, but I still prefer the shade of the chukkas here

Congrats!!!  I love the color of the chukkas -- I think with some sunlight and wear the cap toes will look the same...eventually.
