Holy Mary mother of God. Will you look at that.
First, your whiskey sw are awesome, keepers for sure.
It would be really difficult for me to let the "natural" shell lwb go. Keep or sell, it's nice to have options.

Thanks DV, I just got two gray suits that I think they would pair nicely with. Probably better if I just wear the slacks. :-)

I am like the worst person to ask on the keep or sell question, but I would keep both personally. Would drop the LWB first if I HAD to drop one. But that would have to involve a repo man or my angry wife with scissors. :-)

Also have chukka as well

Anybody size down from Indy boots on true balance last to LWB's in Barrie? My Indy's are 404 (Kudu) and are a comfortable if not a little loose fitting in 10E's.

Also, I can order lwb in color 8 and black sole edge from the local alden shop but how "rare" are these other make ups using different sole edges or cigar / ravelo cordovan? Does anyone regularly stock some of these options?

Any comparisons / commentary on the merits of the Alden's vs the AE Macneils in cordovan?

Please help me pick one.......snuff tassel, snuff LWB or tan LWB?

I already have snuff LHS, snuff PTB and tan chukka in the rotation.

I love the snuff LWB but you already have two snuff shoes in the rotation.

I vote for the tan LWB, don't know if you like the city mocs , haberdash has them on sale for $399.

I only have 1 pair of LWBs in #8......are the suede better suited with chinos and jeans?

Decision... tan suede Indy shoes

Lined, double leather sole, Trubalance last

or

Unlined, single flex sole, (barrie last?)

I definitely prefer the unlined version from BB.....they are very unique and I bet they are super comfy

Why do I feel the flex sole is less durable than a double? I tried on the flex unlined Dover at Leffot. It was luxurious, but I could tell my feet would ache after some walking unless I used an insole.

Please tell me that's a Goonies reference?

The feedback on the tan LWB is interesting. I saw the one on leffot and was waiting to see if the snuff LWB showed up. Both are nice, would snuff be more versatile... Slacks plus chino plus jeans

[Edit: Sorry for posting the same info.  I didn't read ahead.]

really wish they carried larger sizes.. numerous makeups I'd happily pull the trigger on but anything above 11 typically isnt ordered (from what I'm told)
