Its a steal.

Not really. Can't you get those every so often with the brooks brothers corporate discount for the same price? Unless you need those NOW it'd be better to wait for the next corporate sale in which it'd be brand new and have a legitimate exchange policy.

Leffot saddles needed some sunshine today.

I'm sure you're aware, but mafoofan ordered 5. I think a flat welt would have better suited the plaza and single leather soles.

I think JGilbert has done a 6 eyelet shell chukka on the plaza. A suede version was posted here recently.

Have a good night!

I am usually not one to care about creasing, but damn do I wish my feet filled out the barrie last more. These look so much better than any of my LWB.

Maybe you should try a shorter e width.

You think? The width already swims on me. I would get maybe a used pair to try, but then they'd already be creased and I wouldn't be able to get an idea if the fit helped. I guess it's just the nature of the Barrie last (depending on feet). It just bugs me that my LWB look old and tired up after probably the same amount of wears as Dubs and his look like he just took them out of the box, haha.

Great looking shoes all around Gents. Too nice to use a spoiler.

Thank you Tif, I call it the brush, brush, brush. I brush the heck out of them after I wear them. :-) I have gotten pretty lucky on the creases on these guys. I actually don't fill the toe box all that well coincidentally, which is why I size down another half size for plain toes shoes.

All the brushin' in the world aint gonna help my creasing. Oh well. I'm done with LWB so I guess I'll never know if another size will be better. I could always re-order my Leffots or just get 975s, but I doubt I'll be able to replace my whiskeys. I'm sure I'd be able to at some point, but it's not worth the agony.

Not judging, and I am totally comfortable with it, but this brings the weirdness of being active on a shoe forum and posting pics of shoe selfies that we often talk about to a whole new level.  I thought DV was from Florida and you were from San Diego?

Pretty sure DV has mentioned being from San Diego. Usually in reference to his awesome lawn.
