Does any one know of a place in and around NYC to buy a polishing deer bone. What do you guys think? Is it worth it say compared to Leffot's sleeking bone (http://leffot.com/shop/index.php/shoe-care/sleeking-bone.html).

I would say Leffot. And I have both the deer bone and the sleeking bone. The deer bone is more effective on shell cordovan.

Have you checked with Leffot? They sometimes stock deer bones.

I would recommend you order one from Hanager Project: http://www.hangerproject.com/horn-bone.html

I believe they are also Abbeyhorn (like Leffot when then have them). Those are the best ones. I previously had a different one and it was not as waxy/oily nor as smooth.

Beautiful my friend!
Very nice DonL... I've nearly pulled the trigger on the tan LWB several times in the past...  regretting not doing it.
No comparison my friend, snag yourself either one when the opportunity presents itself!
Gents, great minds think (and dress) alike!

Still working on the lawn there DV.  Not quite ready for the weed-n-feed just yet!
Nice combo rtp.
My lawn got mowed yesterday.

who can guess my favorite Aldens these days?

4or5 Hints: not #4, not exotic shell, not an exclusive gotta-know-the-man-who-knows-the-man makeup, not ordered from an overseas vendor, not even shell...
