A question for the model 40568H. It says barrie last on the second list. Aren't these in trubalance  last?

$65 to put towards more shoes I guess....

Yea but I would say to pay an additional $65 over second quality is not that significant when you're dropping close to five bills.

Fully used shell can sell for $500-$650 nowadays. J Crew and BB offer limited styles, and many don't have access to the promotional codes; that pricing isn't really indicative of the market.

I was being fecetious. $500 is not a 'normal' price for JC and BB shell. Just on sale.

I dont think the Jcrew discount works anymore. Also, the seconds list have different models

Yikes! I just got my seconds list from TSM. I must have pissed someone off to get it two hours late! Then again, before I wouldn't get it at all...progress?

PSA: Just spoke with The Shoe Mart.

They have the following with "expected" delivery in mid June: Color 8 WT Boots on the Barrie, Snuff Suede Cap Toe Boots on the Barrie, and Nat CXL Indys on Trubalance.

Give them a call if you want to get your name on a list for these.

I didn't get the lists directly from TSM......can anyone share the 11 and 11.5 lists?

I have no experience with seconds from the Shoe Mart.  However, I have dealt with this store in the past, and they are very helpful and have a generous return policy/window.

Would some fellows share their recent experiences with the seconds, both good and bad? I am genuinely curious whether ordering seconds is worthwhile or not with an eye toward quality of goods rather than strictly price.  I have not really paid attention to the past few seconds lists because there have not been (m)any styles of interest to me.  Cheers.

Heading back into meetings, but very glad to have snagged a natty cxl wingtip boot with brass eyelets and speedhooks / waterlock sole from the seconds list. Ed claims they are "beautiful" and in good shape, so here's hoping yet another impulse purchase is worth it. I can forward 8.5d, 8.5e and 9d to interested parties later on tonight if you want to pm me.
