Haha.  Man what a great game!  Didn't you just love it!?  ;)  My sister's significant other is an OSU fan, but we've converted him to the point where he wasn't "too" upset after that game.  Perhaps we will meet again soon in the playoffs down the road.  You guys should be real good for the forseeable future as usual.

Anyway, yes, that was a pre-order from October I believe.  I spoke to one of the guys up there a few weeks ago, and they are still expecting a delivery anywhere from late April through June.  But, of course, that's all in Alden's hands...

tisk. for me a balanced and proportioned monk (single or double) is as close to wearable art than any other shoe design. alden single monk on aberdeen is superb

I am wearing color 8 full strap loafers right now. My ravello tassels were one of my first pairs of Aldens and get a lot of wear during spring and summer. But they aren't necessarily for everyone. For one thing, the loafer with suit look is extremely common, wearing the Alden iterations of these may seem less "unique." But for me, the utility is good, especially when I want to show off the socks I have on.

Me 3! (or 4 or 5)

I think mdubs, too. He is enough competition alone.

Namor wears bigger shoes.
Add rtp to that list.

Those who avoid tassels do so to their own detriment. One of Alden's finest and most classic models. In fact, Alden invented the tassel loafer

^ beebs channeling sftg + uncle Mac.

I hope to wear tassel loafers one day. I'm not ready yet.

This Cigar LWB pre-order from Alden NYC -- is that the Alden on Madison Ave?  and if so, how does one get in on such an order?

There's not enough room in this town for all of us 10/10.5s

Time to have a Avatar showdown.

Either that or a steel cage winner-take-all death match, ECW style.

p.s. I'm related to Bruno Sammartino bounce2.gif

I think all the spots sold out on that Cigar LWB pre-order. You can try giving the Madison Ave store a call to double check if there's any left available. Hopefully they stay on the timeline with this one, the order was confirmed by Alden so there shouldn't be any major delays.

Yes, Alden on Madison. I found out about the preorder by following the guys in this thread who seem to get the early and inside scoop. You can also call the stores from time to time to see if they have anything in the works. Good luck!

Thanks @Mr Clemson and @Beatlegeuse --yeah I figured this go around was a lost cause, but I was interested to find out how to get on the next Cigar order...sounds like I'll have to keep my ear to the grindstone with everyone else.

I'm in the 10 / 10.5 range too, but on the wider side -- give me all your E-widths, or I'll continue taking the Ds.
