Speaking of which,

Any True Detective or Sherlock fans in here? Also top-notch shows worthy of a marathon watch.

I went TTS (10.5) on mine and the fit was superb last night when I was first breaking them in - they felt really, really good.

I went a half above what I wear Barrie, Truebalance and Van (10D), and the same as Grant and Plaza (10.5D)

I wear my "winter" boots in Barrie in a 10.5D to use heavy wool socks.

These shoes are very nice...

New arrival from Brooks. I don't own any loafers or tassels. Have a little trepidation about keeping these.
I wear suits 4 days a week so I could definitely get use out of these

  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

You might like them better if you take the blue wrappers off.

Wait, who has trepidation? Sazon or Louis Prima? I'm so damned confused now with all the earlier avatar discussion!

We must be nearly the same size - the Van lasted LHS will have to open just a bit for me as well; but I would say both shoes fit quite well yesterday.

I'm in on the Cigar LWB from NY that should come next month, I ordered a 10D because they are on Barrie. Medallion toe boots from JGilbert on Grant, 10.5D...

sazon, you have a great collection and you might have difficulty incorporating these into the rotation. id like to wear loafers but i find myself reaching for everything else instead. for me tassel loafers are on the bottom of the shoe totem pole

This is coming from a fellow Alden addict (AA), so take it with a grain of salt, but I think that they look awesome. I am assuming that you got them with the BB 30% off, which makes them stratospherically awesome.

For a sartorial statement, keep the bands on. They will look like the claws of lobsters at the super market:D

So you, me, sazon, MrDV, I believe NAMOR...who else?... all wear the same size. That is some stiff competition. The 10 / 10.5 group might give the 8.5 group on here a run for their money.

I am afraid of the same thing, OR, I may love tassels so much that I may wear them 3x a week!

Thank you!
Yes, the BB sale made these possible. The bands will stay on. I will order new colored bands and change them daily to match my socks.

Same here.  I went TTS with the Tremont shortwings (8D) and the fit is great.  I wear a 7.5D (and can wear as small as a 7D) in Barrie and Van.  I ordered a 7.5D in the Barrie longwing whiskey and cigar that should come in over the next month or two (I hope) from Alden NYC.

Tassels are not for me either. They are close to the bottom of the totem pole for me as well but might be slightly ahead of monks (both single and double) :lurk:

Despite that bowl game win with that *should have been buckeye* QB, I must admit you have good taste - we're in on the same Cigar order as well, that was what - an October full prepay???
