Yeah, I contacted them a few weeks ago just to see if they had any update but of course the answer was no. I thought about taking my deposits back but I figured that the two items I ordered (#8 shortwings and #8 pt boot) are pretty basic and items that I will always have a space for in my wardrobe and at least I've locked in at pre-2014 price increases so for now I just let the deposits ride. If I happen to come across either elsewhere at a reasonable price, I may reconsider though.

Also, I have noticed that they have not been posting as much cordovan lately, and am curious whether they, like some shops, are not posting their more limited cordovan releases on their website.

Usually they say "we don't know exactly when, but eventually" or something along those lines. If you really want them, hand over $100 deposit and reserve your size. If you are waiting to see something you like to be announced on the site it is already too late. Good luck!

Takuya from LS said they have no cordovan models on the horizon. Edit: I should say no models that I could get in on. Full orders may be a different story.

Yeah you have to build relationship with them to get in on a lot of the stuff. Hassle now too since Bryan isn't at LSBH any more neither

I have handled the color 4/black saddle and the contrast is quite striking. Although a unique shoe in its own right, It is not for me.

I called Alden Madison (NYC) and confirmed the price on the Handsewn 4 Eyelet Blucher in #8 (no crepe sole).

$692.00                  Not exactly cheap to say the least. But I do want them. I just have to figure out if an 11.5 will fit me - doubtful since all the other Van Lasts I wear 12D in.
