I love these Kudu chukkas but wanted to make sure that this was normal with the lug sole before I started wearing them outside.

The heel on it is not flat but curved side to side as well as front to back. You can see the gap under the edge of the heels in the 1st pic because it's not even touching the ground since the center of the heel hits the ground first. In the 3rd pic I put a ruler flat along one side so you could see the angle of the arc in case it wasn't showing up in the other pics.

Some morning shots of the Need Supply Union Hill Indy Boot:

I am really loving this boot. In regard to the discussion about suede and its ability to hold up, Alden suede is extremely high quality and can take a beating. I have owned a couple shoes in snuff suede and they have been through rain, muck, dirty Parisian streets, and they have all held up very well. I am sure these will. I think this tan suede will age very nicely.

Get it! You can always send back if you don't like them (that logic always works to create some inertia).

these are superb. Suede Indys are just awesome, in any make-up.

Got my first shoe comment on these yesterday. Was standing at the Chanel counter while my wife was checking out some makeup and just a random guy, maybe in his twenties.... "Hey man, nice boots!". Made me smile.

Hey Sir, Nice boots indeed!

More pics in the wild please? I've been wondering about them for a while.

The website says my size is out. Is it a call only deal?

^ Yeah, I'd call. I didn't check the site, but imagine only a few left. They were also blowing out the shoe version in black earth color

Any advice for my lug sole question earlier? I'd like to be able to wear them today but not if that's not normal.

Looks abnormal to me. Assuming it's a widely available make-up, perhaps you should return for another pair.

hey guys...
i have a pair of alden cordovan boots, that somehow over the years , i felt they become slightly tighter - might be my feet just gotten fat, since i'm already past the growing stage. haha

I would really like to be able to continue wearing this pair of boots, instead of finding another #8 boots that is half size bigger than my current.

So is there any way I can go about to slightly change the size of the boot bigger?
Any one have any success stories to share? whether via the alden restoration method.. or some other methods..

its a pair of size 8 barrie last btw.

The only throwing me off is that both pairs are the same which is why I thought maybe there's something I don't know here.

Thank you for the photos! They look great! Mine should arrive late next week. However, I will have to wait until 20 March to actually see them - I am in Africa now and my next rotation is in March. Enjoy the boots!
