i would size down 1/2 size from your normal size. going tts in the barrie is alot like, you know, when you get a hot dog with too much bun; like 1/2" extra on both ends? the sausage is dwarfed in comparison to the bun. sure you have a lot of room for your sport pepper, and pickle, a line of mustard and ketchup and mayo (if your into that sort of thing), but you bought the bierwurst for the meaty, garlicy, fatty flavor. you could go down a bun width but will still be too long for the sausage. so sizing down 1/2 size ensures that their is just the right ratio of bun to meat allowing still plenty of room for either a thin or thick sock. i hope that clears it up
