+1, I think that the Color 8 NST is a beautiful makeup. Sometimes Color 8 is underrated due to its availability, but I love its versatility.

Seeing these, makes me more excited to get my new Full Strap Color 8s out...

You talking about me?  My big dogs are right sized for my big butt!  I did indeed go deep and far this summer.  Got a few Gunboats on pre-order too.  I love my JCrew PCT boots!  My first shell higher top boots.  I like them better than the 3 eye chukkas, but to be honest I love all my Alden's so far.

Hope everybody has an awesome Christmas and or whatever holiday you like to celebrate.

See Ya,

Steve

Cigar 10D in Aberdeen.  10D in barrie and trubalance fit well to even slightly large.  These are tight on the top, toes have a little wiggle room.  My cobbler stretched some Allen Edmonds shells I have but wanted the expert's opinion before taking the plunge with these.  Might be a catch and release.  (sorry about the awful color combo, wasn't expecting to get these until tomorrow)

Thanks guys.

I would say sell, but it really depends on how tight they are?   My Barrie and Trubalance sizing fits fit good to a little loose, for Aberdeen I typically go from width D to E for non-lace loafers and it works well.  Like you its the fit is tight across the arch if I stick with D width.  Some other do well by going up 1/2 size and down a width.  Every foot is different.  For what its worth they are very nice shoes, I love the full strap for its simple, yet elegant look.

See Ya,

Steve

Those that underrate color 8 do so to their own detriment. biggrin.gif

Loafers, no matter what the last, should be tried on if at all possible. There is no "rule of thumb" IMO when it comes to converting a laced shoe size to a loafer shoe size.

They're from the orthopedic line.
Alden used to have the orthopedic stuff on their site.
Gotta go to the wayback machine.
