A huge thank you to REguy for the NSTs. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Great colors, I wondered how the 2 nsts would look next to each other. Thanks for posting.

Unlined suede does not appear to be very forgiving ... I would recommend a shorter and wider size to better fit the ball of your foot.

prompted my coworkers to come running to me with the cover story from the WSJ "Off Duty" section.

I was then grilled about the shoes I'm wearing today - well, they're not shoes - they're boots. They the Alden for J.Crew Cap Toe Shell Cordovan #8 Boots that I got from KWHITELAW.

Then someone shouted out...these boots from Leffot are Alden and they're $720!!

"Please tell me you didn't pay that much for them...you're sick if you did. SICK!"

Well that was awkward enough for the workplace, but then describing how I obtained them was more complex.

"Noooooo, I didn't pay that much for them - don't be silly. I got a good price on them"

"Well, how'd you do that??"

So...yes, I'm wearing shoes bought by a total stranger and sent to me in Florida, and I'm wearing them today.

Haha, my coworkers got over the fact that Aldens were $700 since they realized Edward Green was a lot more. What they didn't get was why I would get the "same" boot constantly in the "same" color. They also decided to start hiding packages if it looked like shoes lol8[1].gif

Also had to tell students I thrifted my shoes, couldn't risk them finding out about them

I imagine an 12E would be in order.

I had a dude at work freak out when I told him I paid $150 for a pair of Made in England New Balance. He was even more freaked out when I told him I ordered them from the interwebz when I could have just gone down to Sport Authority or Costco.

One of the advantages of having multiple pairs of the "same" boot is that they don't notice when you get another. Just remember not to cross your legs so they can see the pristine sole.

Was told my Leffot Tankers were in after less than 4 months. Wonder if delivery is staggered and I got lucky.

Nice!  The Tankers grow on me the more I see them.  I bet a nice worn pair of #8's would be hard to deny!

Leffot is pretty solid on the preorders. Shoes come in in 4-5 months in my experience. Tankers are essential.

They said early next year which I was kinda banking on because the LWB came in not that long ago. Was hoping for a bit more separation! Haha!
