These are sooooooooo tempting!!!!

That would be a great foul weather shoe, much like this offering from Epaulet:

Ravello is reasonably close in color to the shortwing model (styled as "cognac alpine grain"); however, there is definitely more red in the shortwing. I own the above-described shortwing, and various ravello models. The alpine grain NST is styled as "brown alpine grain" so I am not sure if that is the same shade as the shortwing or not.

Leffot says to use Montana Pitch Blend. Still awaiting mine from Amazon. Will let you know when I've tried it.

I talked with them today - they said 8-10 months.  I'm not into their whole, pay now and wait model, but its still tempting

"The only shoe we are having made is the whiskey brown long wing tip made. We still have a few spots open for reserve with full payment, so if you were interested let us know. Unfortunately that is the only style we are having made at the moment, and it will be at least 8-10 months until we get more options. Any other questions let us know. Thanks!

Weird... got this email today from them. I had only asked about Whiskey... Guess they like you better than me :)

I've paid for Cigar and Whiskey on this order and was told 4-6 months.  I suggest you call them.

They say in your email 8-10 months before they get additional options.

See Ya,

Steve

That's the same experience that I had with them.  I called them and paid for both cigar and whiskey...to be delivered within 4 to 6 months.

Helps when you actually read the email I suppose.
