The trend that size 11+ doesn't sell well? I don't think this is new.

11+ may not sell as well as the other sizes. But they do sell. And retailers have, as far as I can tell, typically stocked a few pairs up to at least 12 and often 13. A "trend" towards not stocking any shoes over 11 would indeed be unfortunate.

FYI, I have 3 pair of Aldens, all 12 D going up on B&S soon. One is Brooks Brothers color 8 LHS, two is a pair of black plain toe boots, calf, barrie, and last kudu indy's. Very lightly used, 3-4 times. PM if interested. Thanks.

Just in this week -- snuff suede short wings (flex sole, Hampton last) from Leather Soul. They are actually darker than the photo indicates. Snuff plain toe boots on the way from LS. It's a snuffy week.

Thoughts on the color variation on this pair of firsts? Enough to warrant an email to the retailer or am I just being nit picky?

the beauty of the exotice colors is that the two shoes are identical in color. as they age the colors will get similiar

I love this pair because

1) it is close to ravello in an Indy, which is rare
2) rare machine stitching

One of the more unique pairs posted

LS #8 Unlined PTB on the Flex

I have this shoe - wonderful. It is a single leather sole also.

Soon I will be sending my vintage Hanover black shell ptb's to BNelson (in need of restoration) to have them convert my standard sole, double leather, to the flex sole, single leather. They are lined, but they are so well broken in that they will feel almost exactly like my unlined color 8 PTBs. :slayer:
