The status of the order just says open.

If they are 8.5D, I would gladly take them off your hands.

Heh, I would be interested, too. Though I could never bring myself to pay full price for them.

I think my faves that i've been able to acquire, which won't be forum favs because "not shell":
- unlined cxl ptb (dover pattern).
- 6-eyelet chukka brown suede, plaza last. really disappointed sizing didn't work out for me.
- snuff roy boot.

fav i haven't gotten:
frans boone plaza indy.

makeup i want in dream land 2014:
whiskey indy boot, trubalance last, size 8.5D

I am most thankful for tsm flood sale last month.

They had my dream shoe in my size for $450!!!!

Aberdeen ravello nsts.

Hanoiboy - That is the Fat Herbie, correct? What do you think of the size? Can it go in your front pocket?

katch, the fat herbie is too big for your front pocket. mine does not get much wear because it is too big.

thanks rtp. I do feel lucky to have them. :embar:

mrclemson,

your shoes look great. be careful with this thread, its worse than the epaulet crowd. a couple of months here, you'll end up with 10+ aldens.

I was emailed earlier today that it's apparently "Alden Night" at Supply & Advise in Miami.

Thanks for the replies.  Yes, you are correct haha.  Fortunately (for my wallet), the exotic shells are harder to come by these days.  :satisfied:

I am on the board of directors for a non profit youth mentoring program, and I just got an email about the family we (the board) are sponsoring this year for the holiday.

The two children asked for sheets and comforters... and a few cheap toys.

Here I am stressing about getting a rare color of a $700 shoe.

It reminded me of how we have to be grateful, and put things in perspective.

Sorry... Had to share.

^ He wasn't seriously offering you less, just saying he'd be tempted to buy but cannot justify spending the money.

I read it as the other poster was assuming that you secured the jcrews at the discounted rate that a lot of SFers got. so if you were going to return them, he'd be interested at the discounted price (plus shipping I'd imagine)

just my .02
