Last night my wife asked me, "What am I suppose to do with that ridiculous collection of shoes if/when you die? Is there actually a market for used Alden's? Don't tell me I'm going to have to put these up on ebay and ship them off... They're either going with you to the grave, or I'm giving them to Goodwill."
I know many of you are pretty young, but have any of you thought about this? I have no sons for which to pass them down. (Sorry to be so morbid. I actually had a hard time sleeping last night.)
There is no morbid reality...reality is simply morbid.
I don't know, to be honest. I'm 27 and single, and unsure whether I'll ever get to have a family of my own. I have one brother who's got gigantic feet (damn him), so hopefully my nephew will end up being my size. I look forward to teaching him about the finer points of shoe care though :)
