I've been using the same cheap-o Kiwi shoe brush I got on Parris Island, SC in 1997. I have an extra brush (of the same ilk) that I use for extremely dirty shoes and boots.

I like the Jumbo FootFitter as well. They do shed a bit, but I never hit the handle on the shoe like I do with some smaller brushes.

Saphir brushes for me

AE brushes - always leave my shell looking hazy

FootFitter - shed like crazy

Hanger Project Cordonnerie pig hair brushes - I find the bristles too tough and leave fine scratches on the shell

Makes me feel like I'm in good company. I have 6 or 7 Kiwi el cheapos. Two for the cars, one for the office, one for reno only, one for brown shoes, one for black shoes. Probably going to get one more as I get used to using the Saphir chromexcel greasy leather polish that just came in. Can't beat the $4.99 price tag at Wegmans.

nephew,
I would recommend mto suit measured and manufactured by Martin Greenfield. Mayor Koch may in rest in peace was a big fan of Martin Greenfield

They're $6.99 for two pair and 30% off - making them $2.44/pair. They have Navy, Brown, and Khaki.

I own these and will say the Not Quite Perfect area of Lands' End has never let me down. I've never been able to see any defect in them.

I own 6 pairs of these and I can confirm they're awesome socks.

Thanks for that!
