Perhaps this has already been covered ....

Anyone know where Bryan Yamashita of LSBH is now working? He is no longer with the LS organization. He was always a pleasure to deal with.

I think those have officially aged to the point of being gorgeous. How long have you been wearing them?

I've probably reno'd them 2-3 times in two years. Just a lot of brushing. They're actually not worn as much since moving out here because of the heat, but they've served well.

Strange behavior. I purchased Indy Boots, 403s with the neocork sole, a few months ago and have been wearing them a couple of times a week since. At some point in the last month or so they have started to make a squishing/swishing sound when I walk. It sounds like air being forced out. I can create the sound by walking or by tapping the ball of my foot/boot on the ground, although it's more pronounced when I walk. These are irregulars from Shoemart, for what it's worth.

Any similar experiences and-or ideas on what the heck is going on? It's driving me nuts.

Thanks.

I'm amazed at how you guys get your Natty CXL to shine like that.  Guess I'm not brushing enough.  Maybe a bit of VSC or Reno?

Not spoilering these as they look just awesome.  I've never been attracted to the AF53s because of the pics on the AoC site but yours look fantastic!  Well done.

This emphasized for me the fact I personally prefer the "worn" look for my boots.  I'll keep a few pairs for dressier occasions but for the most part, I'd like my boots to look like yours.  This presents a dilemma for me as my boot collection grows.  If I rotate "properly", then it will take years for any of my boots to look like this.  I either have to be patient, trim my collection or simply not rotate "properly", leaving those boots that are less appealing to me to linger longer on the boot rack.

This is really a guilt-causing 1st world problem...

A similar thing happened to me as I was breaking in a pair of shell boots. As the leather and cork bed broke in, a small air pocket formed on the outside edge of my left boot. As I walked, air was forced out the top that resulted in a weird boot fart as I walked around. It only last for a couple of weeks (thank the Lord) and now they're perfectly snug and broken in.

Your situation might be totally different, but just thought I'd share.

Got my Leather Soul Last Pair Ultimate Indy's today.  My 1st pair from the Leather Soul group and very nice addition to my collection...specially at $295.00!  Another 1st for me is the commando soles on them.

See Ya,

Steve
