Fantatic looking NYR.
Is this DIY on the edging.  Love it.

 what kind of chinos?

NYR - is that the official monkier for these boots?
Tankers, Day Trippers, ... Poop Kickers? ;)

Yup, I like the chinos as well.  What is the story behind that edge trim? (I like it) Did they come like that?

thanks guys, chinos are RRL Officer chinos. I succumbed to the pressure and got em. As far as the boots, they were LS Ultimate Jumpers with a leather sole and dark edge trim. I wanted to beat em up for a year, which I did, and add to the sole, gave em a triple, and asked the guy to give me very light edge trim. He basically scrubbed em clean. And yes, I guess they can be called "poop kickers". When you have a 4 and 3 year old at home, potty mouth kind of takes a back seat...:)

Yes - photos that reveal the depth of shell make it so tempting to just drop onto Shoemart and start loading up the cart.

Where can I get PTB's in brown or dark tan, non-grain calf? There are some models in the Japanese market but I can't find any in the EU or US.

Have taken a shine to J Crew Alden dirty bucks. Their model is unlined and has metal eyelets. Never bought anything there. Do Aldens go on sale? If so, how much and when? TIA

Anyone? I am not an Alden amateur; I own about 30 pairs of shells. These would be my third pair of bovine leather shoes.
