Thank you for the comments!

Tifosi, I am sincerely shocked you don't have these yet, I remember you went on a very nice run a few weeks back :fonz:

Haha...me too! If I didn't have the version with antique edge on pre-order at Leffot, I would have them by now.

very nice. i wore both of these pairs earlier in the week. and I agree with the captoe crease, i find it endearing. usually occurs when the shoe is too big/long

I think my boots fit me really well. The widest part of my foot is dead on at the widest part of the boot. Do you think these 'crease rules' only apply to people who actually care about how a shoe creases? I was shocked when I joined this forum and I saw people talking about creases and applying methods to make sure the shoes crease in the 'right places'. Actually I'm still amazed at that... Thoughts like this never entered my mind before.

BW, sweet watch with some very nice barrel aged whiskey chukkas. I hear a lot of our Special Forces guys over in the sand box wear Panerai watches. Was it hard to get used to the large size?

When I placed my order for the 10.5D, there was also size 11D listed. My shoes shipped, but when I rechecked the site later I noticed that the 11D pair, rather than the 10.5D, had been removed from the last pair page. Not sure if the error was simply the website update or if they actually sent me 11D by mistake. I guess we'll find out when I get the shipment.

Ah, I wanted those but missed the pre-order. I couldn't find anything similar in my size and didn't have the patience to wait 1+ years for them to potentially do another run so I went for the classic version. Please post pics when yours arrive!

Rider Captoe:

The captoe has begun creasing the past few wears. the boot is now fully broken in and it feels loose, like a 1/4 size long. I dont mind the crease and their is nothing I could have done really other than size down 1/2 size. I dont think preventive creasing measures would have helped

Rolex Explorers rule, especially when worn with a nice pair of shoes.
