How I store some of mine at the moment. I plan to add an additional shelf in at least 6 of the cubbies to fit 2 pair of shoes each. The boot cubbies have to stay full height. I already had to remove one of the canvas drawers for another boot incoming since this was taken...

Before they strike leather.  Pretty much any cobbler can replace that black rubber heel tab for an insignificant cost.  I've had it done for as low as $6, others report paying up to $30.  Either way, its still insignificant in my opinion compared to the amount of money that I already spend on shoes.

Damn shame there is already some AHole in an 8.5D on the waiting list...I tried to squeeze into the 8's about a year ago and quickly discovered I could not make my Barrie size work with the Grant.

I did pass on a Ravello PTB from Alden NYC though as I just got the LWB's so there is a chance that 8 is available...

Excellent, thank you. I was worried I was going to need to send them back to Alden to have the whole shoe sole redone, ha. :fistbump:

Sorry fellas. Most of my shoes and boots (including the whiskey Indy boots) are 7.5.

FWIW, I did recently put a pair of unworn ravello chukkas in the B&S forum and they sold in about 20 minutes (and during that time I received about 30 PMs about them). smack.gif

There will be a few more boot offerings coming up: reverse chamois Indy, Leather Soul X SelfEdge CXL boot, black 6 eyelet chukka, blue suede indy, unworn black shell naval boot, and possibly a once worn AoC #8 wingtip boot... all size 7.5 though (some E some D).

I could fit into a 7.5D or E Barrie or Trubalance. FWIW....
