Thanks much for the feedback - I think the cordovan versions of the ramsey are great - just not sure how good the plain old calf versions are... must try to go check them out in store.

All: don't know if this has been posted yet, but Tres Bien is offering 55 Eur. off and free shipping on orders of over 300. I haven't done the minus VAT / discount conversion, but this may make some stock Alden models slightly less expensive than normal.

Those are great-looking boots, Mr. DV.

Moulded sole also has a pebble grain boot.

Many of the pictures here look "glass-like," "dipped in liquid chocolate," etc... due to the correct outdoor lighting and sometimes manipulative electronic apps.  Wipe down with a damp, soft towel, brush, and buff before wearing (or after).  They will look great!  Apply wax or conditioning cream a couple of times each year.  The conditioning and wax doesn't do a whole lot to make them shine, imho.

These are pics of mine that have not seen any wax yet...

I 'need' a pair of these. Just an awesome classic.

#8 LHS should be included in the first 3 shells that every man must own; so versatile.

I was really looking forward to the 986 with antique edge trim that Leffot was going to do. However given the scarcity of shell and popularity of some of the other #8 pre-orders, they decided to increase those and put the loafer on hold...

"Color 8 with antique edge. The new ravello / color 4"

A 986 w antique edge would basically be a backdoor cigar LHS (especially if the color 8 is of a lighter shade). I'm sure it would great...

Thanks BC.  While I agree with you about the LHS and I have the LHS, it isn't the best of fits for me.  The 975 on the other hand, is a heavenly fit!

Hi guys,

Quick sizing question.

I have no exp. with Plaza last , I'm 10d in Barrie, What size should I order in Plaza? 10.5? Also is 10.5d in Plaza similar , wider or narrower than a 10d Barrie?

Thanks.
