Help! Wanting to order BB shell tassel loafer. I have a sizing question. What size to order, me TTS 9.5D.
I have the following makeups
BB Unlined 9D Van last. Perfect fit.
Alden LHS lined 9D. fit is loose.
Barrie 9D

Being loafer they will give some. I just don't want to order a size and five years hence wished I'd gone down a half to my Van Barrie size. I have had many of these in my younger days but have forgotten the correct size. I have one BB sales agent who says go Van in the cordovan as it's larger than the calf makeup. NYC Madison dept., manager who says go TTS. What I don't want is to be racing for a plane and have to be fishing pant legging out of loafers.

Anyone here buy a pair of natural CXL split toe shoes from muchocoins in size 11 and receive a left in 10.5 and a right in 11?
If so, I've got your left in 11 and you've got my left in 10.5.

Hello gentleman, lovely boots all-around.  Purchased my first pair

of Aldens from ShoeMart.

Really liking them so far but the below pic has been nagging at me.

You'll notice the right boot's leather is...I'm not sure on the correct

term, "wrinkling" or aging differently.  Is this to be expected?

On the one hand, they're work boots...on the other, they're

$500+ work boots (from ShoeMart).

Wrinkles arent the problem for me. Its the right tongue that wants to bunch up under the laces ffffuuuu.gif

take them to a cobbler and have him attach/tack the tongue to the vamp permanently. problem solved.

^ I've got these incoming. Do I need a suede belt or can I get away with cognac, walnut or tan calf? I'd like more of a dress belt, not too casual. AE's Player's Belt is on sale, but might be too casual, not a fan of the buckle.

Considering this one from Rancourt:

Any thoughts?

You will have to post how they turn out in reality. I have always really liked medallion cap toes and they look awesome in their pictures.

In terms of belt, I personally would get matching suede if possible. But that is just me, you probably could be able to pull off a leather belt though. I actually like the silver square buckles, so my preference is towards the AE belt. But if you like the Rancourt buckle better, jump on it. I know AE will switch the buckle for you if you want to get a different buckle. I can PM you a number to call to get it MTO (should be free if you refer to styleforum)...

not sure if my pair, bought through here, originally from LS, are the same, but here is a blurry overcast pic nonetheless

Appreciate the responses,  I'll shut up and enjoy.

Namor, these are standard width (D).  My feet aren't particularly narrow so

it must just be the angle.

must have been. great looking boot nonetheless.

btw, if anyone has a size 11.5 indy or wingtip boot and would like to trade for my 11D cigar indy please let me know. I can get away with a size 11 indy with a machine stitched toe but a similarly sized hand stitched indy is just too tight

perfect for all your gardening needs!
