^^ That's a nice looking loafer.

For clarification, my sources tell me the 2 tone penny loafer above is on the Van last. The V tip is on the modified.

Burgundy meets Whiskey. Yay or nay?

My father once ordered a steak, and the waiter came back with a strip of beef rolled with pesto sauce and cheese as if it were a cinnamon roll. Upon seeing this, my father remarked, "You somehow found a way to ruin a perfectly good piece of meat." This shoe reminds me of that. To each his own, but I wouldn't mix two wonderful shell colors in such a haphazard fashion.

Today i try on Alden X leather should with APC which i have bought in APC store

Actually when i noticed this pant, it's look slim not too skinny. and there are 2 style of this color (standard trouser and five pocket)

first time i would like to buy standard trouser in this color but my girl friends who choose this for me.

but i wanna return but can't because sale item is final sale

BTW

I try it with Alden Natty boot it's look a little good and a little bad with tapper pant T^T

I'm not sure about the two tone loafer, but the V-Tip is interesting. The contrasting shells are a little jarring at first. Try to think about the shoes with a pair of trousers. Properly paired, the trousers will bring it all together. Beyond that, yes, it's a matter of personal preference.

In this case, the photo doesn't provide much information (probably due to the back lighting). But I don't see anything wrong.

Nothing wrong with a lil pesto and cheese.

IRL, I actually preferred the loafer to the V tip.

What's the difference between the Waterloc sole and the Cork Neoprene Sole? Are they different names for the same thing? In pictures the waterloc sole looks a little darker but it could just be the picture. I need a sole for wet weather.

good to hear - I know my size on the Modified last (9E - have a pair of cap toe shoes from TSM in that size and on that last, and they fit perfectly) - absolutely looking forward to receiving these boots -
Thanks -

really?! I didn't realize that Moulded Shoe carries the actual Alden Commando sole - actually, I would prefer that to the full Commando sole (more aesthetically pleasing) - the boots came in (they are perfect), I'll give Moulded Shoe a call in the a.m. - thanks for the heads up!

Moulded Shoe has a tumblr blog, here ya go…

A few examples of the commando sole…

That's a conversion from double leather to a commando on a cigar PTB.
Another example of a conversion…

Hope this helps.

the second pic, to me that's perfect, exactly what I want.
I'll run over to Moulded Shoe this week and drop the boots off.
You totally helped - Thanks!!

The loafer looks nice. I am not a fan of the V tip style but this one looks good. Not sure what I would wear it with.
