I wear RRL with my Aldens. In my opinion nothing beats dark denim with #8 captoed boots.

i go naked and famous regular guy with 403.

Since we're sharing the denim combos I usually go with my Skulls or APC PS. Both are faded like OUTTA THIS WORLD. Just sayin'

I have been emailing theshoemart every month since November 2011 asking to be on the list, they always send me the list for that month but they never add me to "the list". Usually I see people discussing here and know it's time to send them another message........

That being said if anyone is willing to share the 9.5e and 10d list I would love to see it.

From my conversations with them, they typically only send out e-mail when you receive seconds from Alden, which comes around every 3 months. On that note, I have had the experience when they received seconds, I never received e-mails, but when I contacted them they said the list was updated and I missed out on a few pairs of shoes I really wanted.

It is best to call Shoemart and ask them to put you on the Alden second list. I did so to change my email address. The next day I had the most recent lists in my inbox. That said, I have not received a more recent second list in the past month.

I would like to know what the denim jeans which you wear with Alden

I usually prefer my Levi's 514 Rigids. In my size they're very slim through the seat and thingh and have a leg opening that seems perfect to me. And dark denim is the perfect match for my Kudu Indy's and Natty CXL PTBoots. I'm sure they'll also be the best jean to pair with the Ultimate Jumpers I'm waiting on.

i am bias, the #8 bb lhs is a great way to start because that was my first shell cordovan

The Barrie at least seemed considerably wider than the Trubalance in the various pairs I have tried on.  I figure that's ok in boots but just about nothing else.  Are there any PTBs out there that aren't on the Barrie?
