Great colors there rtp. The brown suede looks great outdoors. I like the green socks too.

Thanks Gentlemen. I need to pull them out more often. Not sure why I don't - maybe I like it so much that I want to baby it - only comes out in Summer with sunny, dry conditions where I won't be walking much & there's little danger of getting something spilled on them.

I am always amazed this doesn't exist. The plant is 45 minutes from Boston and the selection is almost non-existent.

tifosi - I apologize that this is off subject but, in addition to Aldens, if you have any interest in Barbour, their Boston store (and the shopping district where it's located) is worth a visit:

BARBOUR BOSTON
134 Newbury Street
Boston 02116
Tel:+1 617-375-7829
Email:barbour.boston@barbour.com

It's less than a mile from NRO, whole area being very scenic and walkable.

For the Cigar it was pretty slim. I guess their order came in a few weeks ago; I know they had a 7.5E and one or two other sizes but, unfortunately, I can't remember which.

I was more than happy to add my name to their list for the next order. Give them a call, and good luck

I called them a few days ago because their website indicated that they had many sizes available. Unfortunately the website was not accurate. I think they had 3 sizes and none larger than an 8.5.

I picked up a pair Alt Wien's from Epaulet in a 9.5 and they are a little roomy but still a god fit. I also picked up a pair of commando sole chukkas from alden of Carmel in 9.5 and there is noticeably more room in them. If I knew then what I know now, I probably would have sent the chukkas back and went with a 9.

Isn't this what I observed? The chukkas I tried on in 11D were larger than any 11D barrie shoe or boot I have ever tried on.
