Let me offer you gents another, perhaps slightly playful look at the blue suede LWB that MrDV sports so well (the laces are orange in this one):

Changed my mind. I looked at them again and couldn't resist. Should be a nice little break between #8 LWB w/ antique and the ship date for these since I pre-orderd the LWB the first time around. We'll see...

Very cool look sir. I like seeing a man in motion.

Thanks RTP. I quite agree with your assessment although I don't understand why.
Btw, welcome to the LHS club. You'll find yourself reaching for them more then you could have ever imagined. Enjoy.

Methinks those are not the Alden Suede LWBs, but instead Allen Edmonds Spiaggias.

Leffot Color 8 & Alpine Grain saddles (I've worn this with a khaki suit a few times recently, the combo really works)
Black NST in Aberdeen (picked this up while visiting Alden SF - I like the uniqueness of the NST pattern and cordovan combined with black, this will get casual and formal wear)

A bit off topic, but these are my first MTO shoes from Edward Green in midnight blue calf, more pics somewhere on Men's Clothing Classic Menswear

AppleMark
Great purchases sir. I like your saddles.

I aspire to have my own personal photographer.  For now, it's just me and my I-phone  biggrin.gif

So true. Lexol is one of the most hydrating substances you can put on leather period. PatrickBooth is a big fan. It will moisturize deeper than Reno. Because of how loaded shell (and CXL) is with natural moisture though, it's not needed frequently.

Nothing wrong w/ Lexol though.

Gracias El,

That's what I wanted to know since I can get it locally, was wondering how good it was compared to Venetian.

Did you end up going with your Barrie size, same width?

Love these unlined chukka's. To say that they're like slippers is a damnable understatement.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

Had it been the case, sir, I would have posted it in the AE thread instead nod[1].gif
