Having some trouble sourcing some snuff suede oxfords (new or very mint)? Any ideas guys?

Seems like a great versatile shoe for light grey suits or casual wear.

Thanks in advanced!

The latter is certainly sleeker and dressier, but I don't think it looks quite as neat as the former. Thoughts?

I believe you can still dress up a antique edged color 8. One thing about Barrie lasted Aldens, (especially with lighter welt) you cannot confuse it with another shoe. Very unique.

It was a scorcher.  Hope you had the AC cranked up.

The Plaza boot.

This one isn't even close for me.

Both are nice but... antique all the way. Nice purchase.

This boot? Where is it from?

perforated cap toe 6E 6.5E 7E 9.5E Truflare last ( we suggest taking your barrie size as truflare is a generous fit and it is E width)

plain toe 6.5 D Barrie last

vtip 6E 7E Truflare last

The price will be discounted so all sales will be final. We are still on our free shipping promotion.   For everyone who sent pms I will get back to you individually.

For me, I think this would be #8 PTB.

As of late, I'd have to say the #8 LHS. The more I wear them the better they get.

I love the ravello PTB and almost chose it for this hypothetical scenario, but didn't because I think a #8 PTB would be more easily worn with a dark suit (for those rare occasions when I do).

The only retailer I can think of that stocks Plaza boots regularly is J. Gilbert, and I'm not sure that it's a closed heel.

I don't think this is a stock Alden style, but could be wrong. If you're open to other makers, maybe C&J Westfield (they call it "tobacco" but it looks similar to snuff)? Or custom AE?

An Alden classic, though what would you do for formal occasions?

Two very nice pairs of boots sir. The Leffot boot is cool looking, but IMHO I believe the J Crew is a style of shoe that looked great 100 years ago and will still look great in another 100.
