Very nice... are those a new shipment? Double oak leather or commando sole?

Yes, they got one of their shipments in and it's with the commando sole. I would actually like these boots in double oak leather for a sleeker profile.

Hmmm, do I really want to call and ask for my size? This is just going to end badly...

I've heard of sagging your jeans a bit, but this is ridiculous
It literally looks like a horrid photoshop job of a smaller guy cut off at the legs and replaced with some other dude's torso

This is the norm when you teach 8th grade...

I just bought my first pair of Aldens this week, and aside from a sleight default, I think they are great. Here is the default though... There is a small slice in the leather on the left shoe. I didn't notice it until 2 days after I bought them. The slice is on the upper on the inside (outside of the shoe, but facing the other shoe), and is about 1.5 - 2 inches long. It looks like a razer blade slice, and is very shallow. They are burgundy wingtips on the modified last from Moulded Shoe in NY. Should I take them back and try to exchange them?

Will it bother you every time you wear them? If so, see what they can do for you. If not, then you chalk them up as added character. It's really up to you.
