Cleaner, Conditioner, and one other product, I forget what.

It is quality stuff.  I use it on my calf, Someone once said that they use it on their shell with good results.

Its some of the best stuff out there for leather in general.  Good for luggage, leather upolstery and the like.

I know about Lexol, I use it on my car leather and leather furniture. It's safe and the right pH for leather. Good stuff indeed.

My question is what does Alden use Lexol Leather Dressing on?

Sigh, are you really this out of it?

I'm asking what kind of leather do they use it on? To spell it out for you the choices would be (to name a few), regular calf, Chromexcel, shell cordovan, suede, kudu, scotch grain, or leather soles, or the welt area, etc.

Why don't you ask them?  They would be in the best position to answer your question.

True, but I'm asking here in case anyone knows, which clearly you don't.

You are right.  I do not know what Alden of San Francisco uses the bottle of Lexol that you recently saw on their shelf for.

Maybe they clean their windows with it, maybe they drink it, maybe they use it as a personal lubricant.

JermynStreet, first let me say congratulations on passing the bar. Now to the important matter of appropriate footwear for legal representation. In consultation with a close personal advisor, ie. my girlfriend, we've decided that the best choice would be the Alden Plain Toe Bal. Style #932 in black calfskin on the Aberdeen last with a single oak sole. We like the clean and classy lines. The calfskin will allow you to go and get a good shoeshine. You can sit in a high chair and look lawyerly. Or, stay up late and apply one if your nervous before court. The single oak sole will allow you to dance around the most delicate of legal arguments. "Actus Regis Nemini Est Damnosa" -The law will not work a wrong.

These sound right to me. Conservative and should be appropriate in a range of settings for as long as they last.
