Blasphemous traitor. Those are the accursed RL Marlow wingtips. How could you? No worries, I did too. Guilt and shame.

I really like them. I ordered leather soul's blue suede shortwing first, but I sold them when I finally got this pair from leffot.

IN 100' heat and 99% humidity, I don't.  Texas summers are not for shell.  I'm wondering if the dense humidity might cause water spots?? eh.gif

I wear it all summer in DC. I never have had the problems with my legs and feet getting too hot or sweaty. I do tend to wear suede more because it is a great chance to do so.

Yes you are certainly correct. The last time I did an EG shell MTO ( a few years ago) it came to about $1300.
sorry about that..

Yes, you are so right and I am so wrong. It's been a few years since I had any made and it was about $1300 then.
Sorry, I should have rechecked with Steven at Leffot before I wrote that....

I do my best to keep my posts as Alden related as possible but FWIW my most recent eg mto came out to $ 1195 for calf not including trees.
I would imagine shell would be in the price point you mentioned if not higher.

What are the best Aldens to go dancing in? Anyone got input on that?

^ a new pair of course. Yeah it may hurt but you'd break em in quick and at the end of the night, you still have a new pair of Aldens.

LHS penny's. Michael Jackson style. The single leather sole is light and they're the closest thing to slippers in my shell collection.
