So I'm planning on purchasing my first pair of Alden shoes. Since I am a connoisseur of nearly everything that I'm into, I'm planning on going big and purchasing a pair of shell cordovan boots. What complicates things is that I have two significantly different-sized feet--a 13 on my left and an 11.5 on my right. I may be forced into buying two pairs as I usually do. In the past, I've looked for sales and have ended up saving on two pairs. I don't think I may have this luck with Alden shoes.  I've learned that Alden doesn't off split sizes, neither does Moulded Shoe nor Leffot. I have yet to stop by the Alden store since I live in Manhattan. I will then look into Shoemart in Connecticut as well. Any thoughts on my issue? Any thoughts on which boots I should get? I am thinking about Indy's, NST Tankers, and perhaps cap toe or wing tips. I'm open to the thoughts from any of you seasoned connoisseurs. Thanks in advance!

You should look up made-to-order options with Alden, either directly or through a vendor. I see no reason why an MTO would not allow different sizes L to R.

One thing to consider: Allen Edmonds splits sizes no questions asked.

What about getting a pair of the larger size and getting the right foot re-lasted?

Relasted 1.5 sizes? No.

Alright... so i just received my alden #8 lwb from leffot... and im loving it though the top part of the width is kinda tight but still bearable ...
