email alden and they will send you a pair. their customer service is good, but its a shame their laces are such crap.

did you grab those at Unionmade?

Jason, these are some Polo cotton socks. Not sure what else to call them, but they are kind of medium thickness and work well for ptb's and chukkas. I don't like to wear chukkas with really thin socks.

Cool. I like medium thick socks for chukkas too.

I thought they might have been these, which I love.

In that order.

There are a couple of aldens I'm interested in at shoemart but they do not ship alden to Australia.. I have no idea why. Does anyone have any experience with this? Maybe someone on here might proxy them to me.

The guys at the shop are willing to accomodate requests like this because they are professional and nice and provide top service, but that is asking A LOT. It takes a long time to get fitted for just one shoe when you consider the different widths.

I am an Alden fan and I get the need to know your exact size, but really? I also get the other side because I sell Aldens now.

All I can say is that dude better post his exact findings on this thread so everyone can benefit!

This dude?

Ordered cigar lhs from shoemart, can't wait to get them. They'll fit in nicely with my whiskey lhs. It doesn't seem to be a popular Alden style around these parts!

Really? The LHS seems to have (at the very least) a healthy cult following.
