Before we all get overly sentimental about the Blackbird Christopherson's Creamery Milkman Boot - I owned that boot and ultimately flipped them without ever wearing them. As we all know, the Barrie last isn't "sleek". Add to that the 360 degree storm welt and you have a pretty "substantial" boot (they may have been based on Peter Boyle's boots in Young Frankenstein). I never seemed to find a place to wear them.

When faced with the dreaded unraveling of the quarter-to-vamp stitch, which I have woefully discovered on my poor 2-week-old NSTs that have thus far been worn only indoors, which of the following are reasonable to expect from the seller?
1) exchange for a new pair of shoes without said defect
2) free repair of shoes by a cobbler of the seller's choosing, on the seller's dime, but with attendant wait
3) refund of purchase price upon return of shoes
I thought I could live with the loose stitch, but it has steadily unraveled further and the gap between the vamp and the quarter continues to increase. Tragic...
