I'm not usually drawn to black boots but the brown welt and antique edging really make those really appealing.  Thanks (or maybe not) for putting an idea in my head.

Must be the humidity.  I wear my boots in 100 degree weather.  My feet are warm but not unpleasantly so.

I do, too, but I tend to go from house to car to client, so I'm rarely outdoors for very long in them.
