Personal taste. I prefer snuff, and have the unlined PTB of which you speak. Very comfortable right out of the box. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

got some unlined tan off of ebay a couple of weeks ago. they are very light and comfortable. good for this hot-as-hell midwest summer. if you can check sizing you might try a 1/2 size smaller. i wear 9.5 on barrie and the unlined are much roomier imo.

Tried on a pair of plain toe bluchers the other day. A LWB in the same size should fit relatively the same, right? (Same last here, Barrie.)

I wear the same size on all my Barrie-lasted shoes/boots. I know others have some variance but my shoes have generally been consistent.

Get your shoes off the table, were you raised in a barn?

My experience was just the opposite, as I found the unlined PTB to be slightly more snug than my lined counterparts in the same size. Go figure ......

WT boots in black soft calf from Leather Soul. I love this leather. Bryan was great to work with.

New Barrie Last user help.  Am I the only person who doesn't size down 1/2 for this last.  I have the Chukka and it's my normal size 9 1/2 D, it is a tiny bit loose.  I fear if I size down 1/2 my toes will be too cramped, I have lousy sensitive feet so tight shoes just won't fly.  I've also ordered some Whiskey Longwings, the SA said they run slightly smaller than the Chukka Boot.  If this is so, they will be perfect.  Just wondering if anybody else just orders their normal size in this shoe?  I would say my socks are thin to med. thickness.  Thanks for the input.  BTW the shell Chukka's creased big time with no wear outdoors, soles are perfect but the shell is now creased, could be problematic on a return.

When you say your normal size is 9.5D, what does that mean?  Did you measure your feet?  Or are you using your size from a different shoe?  If so, which shoe?
