Adidas/Nike sneakers: 10
Mark McNairy Saddle Shoe: 9.5 (width is perfect, length feels a tad too long)
J Crew dress shoes: 9.5
Chucks: 9 (width is pretty snug)
Clarks DB: 9.5 (width is perfect, length feels a tad too long)
Common Projects and Lanvins: US 9 or 42

I have been told I will likely require a width higher than D. I have only ever worn D width shoes...might be the reason why some don't fit as well.

True, but it's probably the closest you're gonna get immediately. Plus, if you wear out the double leather, you can send back to Alden and get them to resole with the ones you want.

Anyone catch the Epaulet pre-sale on the Ravello Wingtip Brixton Boot (all eyelets, no hooks). I snagged one of the last 9D available and can't wait, these could be the Ultimate boot.

Word, I was thinking more along the lines of Barrie.

It's funny, I spotted a guy from Blacksburg on the Epaulet thread a while ago and was equally shocked. I PMed him and it turned out he had recently graduated and moved away, but he gave me a run down of some others members from the area, past and present. There weren't very many -- no surprise.

Enjoy your time and the weather; summer Blacksburg is my favorite kind of Blacksburg

They're gorgeous. I couldn't afford them at the time they came out, and now there are no 8.5s available. Sad face.
