Tom must love it when people who haven't even 'joined the family' yet are misspelling sole, soul.

Remember that they are unlined so a safe bet might be the 9E.

^^nice combo on the pants and shoes! also, good work with the background matching.

really digging the suede from alden, but i'm concerned about how long the suede would last. if i can get multiple years out of it, i may have to purchase...

for those with shell high boots - how would you describe the break in period for the "top" of the boot, ie where the laces are tied? when you stand and try to flex forward, do the boots gain a lot of "give"? right now they are quite stiff there, almost like ski boots, but I imagine this area will loosen up?

Nice whiskeys!

Speaking of Sri, wearing my ravello LWB, purchased from him. Huge fan!

I don't want to pile up the

either, but I definitely recommend buying from Sri. He is an absolute gentleman!

Not to worry. They'll break in and become very comfortable with wear.

I have two pair of shell boots, both bought pre-owned on B&S and never had a problem with stiffness...I assume it'll be fine.

What size are you? I have a brand new pair for sale crazy cheap.

Not if you cuff. Should be fine. Suede is generally more susceptible to denim bleeding. If you're worried, apply some conditioner, like Saphir Renovateur, to the your shell before wearing.

Leather Soul? Very nice. The regular eyelets all the way up makes the look. I might cuff once more on the top pic to show off more of the boot.

No, because you should be soaking before wearing them

They'll still bleed, even after a soak. The question is whether or not anything will get on the shoe.

NYR - I've been wearing my pair of 47's for almost two years now. They just keep getting better!
