Has anyone used this leather defender product for any significant period of time? Alden DC included some in my whiskey Indy purchase. While it goes against the Mac Method, I am considering using it for the cordovan shoes I intend to expose a bit to the rain (cigar PTBs on crepe, maybe these whiskey indy boots)
Leather Defender is still a relatively new product so the jury is still out on it for long term usage. The Mac Method predates Leather Defender, and while I don't presume to speak for mac my assumption is that if Alden & Horween approve mac may as well. Please keep me updated on LD and how it holds up over time. Thanks.
The completely funky shape of the boot on your foot... and it looks like your ankles are swollen to the size of baseballs
Probably just the way the leather is folding in those particular poses... I was resting the shoes on the heel. The boots are normal, will look more natural as they get more wear (cordovan boots can be stiff out of the box, especially around the ankles)
