have a beautiful pair of Alden calfskin saddle shoes in B&S right now. love them, but I didn't realize they were a AA/B width when I bought them. I believe they were an exclusive model to Richard's Fine Menswear.

What I like about these is the way the different panels in the LW are shading. Really gives these shoes a lot of character. Enjoy many years of wearing them.

One panel on my LW is a shade different than the others. It means they mixed batches of leather that were tanned together. I was thinking about returning it at first but, like you, I decided it gives my shoe character.

Cigar captoes w cuffed RRL jeans. iPhone cord obstructing the view. Will likely wear with a suit tomorrow
Also, time to hem the jeans

Cigar might be my favorite Alden color shog[1].gif

J Gilbert is doing a pre-order. Shoemart is getting some in (not sure on sizes) in February, and more sizes back in April i think. Just call them.

i think that is kind of a smudge (I don't believe it is a dent in the leather) - I'll check when I get home

+1. I am totally with you on this. I love all the colors but find myself gravitating towards Cigar most of the time due to its versatility and hue. I love the way slightly older Cigar fades into a lighter shade over time.

Has anyone ever had this problem with a pair of Indys? Shoe tongues just won't stay in place during wear. Alden wants me to send them in, but not sure if it's really worth all that trouble.

Any advice?

Happened to my cigar captoe boots on the left foot. I took it to my local cobbler and they attached one side of the tongue to the boot. Problem solved....

Last year into earlier this year, it was all about ravello

I think now and for the next few months, it's time for cigar. A lot of great makeups in cigar recently
