It's so sad, bro. The cubicles are actually pretty spacious, you can fit 2 pairs in one of them if you have a divider in the middle. I went to Ikea today to look for such dividers but no luck.

I know some of the members have balling houses. I see some of them post up floor plans of the bedrooms to redo the closets and such. But my closet and room in general is pretty small.

I will have a cool looking place to house my wardrobe once I settle down in a more permanent location.

+1. Sometime in your late 20's? I debated putting up shelving like Senor Vox but it would only be for a year or so. Not worth it, yet

I turned 26 on the 7th of this month. I don't know if I will be staying here my whole life. And if I were to move elsewhere for a job, I'm not sure if I want to invest in the remodeling of an apartment. So I guess until I get a house or condo of my own...haha.

Dude, it holds 4 pairs. shog[1].gif It's suppose to be a bookshelf I think, it's probably 3' long and 2' high. I bought it to hold my DVDs, but I had to 'remodeled'. There are 4 cubicles in the structure, I have 1 pair of shoes in one cubicle, and 3 pairs are on order. So at this point, I have no more room for shoes. frown.gif Good shoes in my bedroom, and rugged shoes downstairs.

If I had a spare bedroom, I would fill all 4 walls with bookshelf and use them as a shoe storage.

Might I suggest a teetering stack of shoe boxes ready to tip over at the slightest disturbance?

Zippy = Paul Smith + Alden + Tricker's.

Zippy,

I can't do that, man. I live in earthquake county...safety first!

My apartment is smaller than some of these guys' houses. wink.gif Two hundred and twenty square feet of living space, plus a kitchen and shower room. But, it's cozy and it's home. I've got my ~40 pairs of shoes in racks in the closet and in a couple of storage boxes. I need to weed them down to my favorite 3 or 4 pair...

Honestly, I'm done for a while. I just need to get some good MTM shirts and I'm going on a hiatus. My next 2 big purchases will be watches so I need to allocate about $12,000 in total for that...plan to acquire both by the end of 2012.

As for shoes: I have 10 pairs of Aldens, 2 pairs of Tricker's, 6 pairs of sneakers, and 4-5 pairs of rugged boots.

I can see one of us on a show like "House Hunter". "We need 3 bedrooms, 1 for us, 1 for the baby, and 1 that I would like to turn into a closet for myself."

Wow, you guys are nuts with all of your shoes. I have three pairs of Aldens, a pair of Trickers, and some beater RW GTs, and I think that's plenty...

...although, I do want some snuff suede LWBs shog[1].gif
