The left shoe was clearly 2 different colors. Alden sent them back to me "refinished." I have absolutely no idea what color the shoes are now

So at first I had a pair of whiskey longwings where the left shoe was 2 shades of orange. Now I have no idea what I have.

Ryan Plett from youhavebrokentheinternet was given a pair of vintage wiskey bals as a gift from a friend. He send them into Alden for "restoration" and the gave the shoes the exact same treatment. I know if it was me and they made my golden/tan whiskeys RED i would lose my sh*t!!!

The shoes before ...

A friend of mine is an electrician, and he's been looking on here for a old pair of beat up Indy's to wear on his job sites. He's a smaller size (7.5 in Barrie ad TB) I think so I told him he may just have to pull the trigger on a new pair....

He should for sure...the only problem he may face is that they are not steel toe or have a steel insert in the sole. He may have a problem meeting safety regulations depending on what field he is in (residential, commercial, industrial).

Wow, that's so red. I'd be very tempted to send them back and demand a new pair in whiskey.
